Answer the following selecting ONE from each Unit.
UNIT I
9. A lease is purchased on Ist. January 2012 for 5 years for 1,00,000. It is proposed to depreciate the lease by annuity method charging 5% interest. According to annuity table to depreciate 1/- over 5 years at 5% a sum of 0.230975 Should be written off. Show the lease account for 5 years.
1.1.2012 న ఒక కౌలును 1,00,000 లకు 5 సం॥లకు తీసుకున్నారు. తరుగుదలను 5% వడ్డతో వార్థిక పద్ధతి ప్రకారం రద్దు చేయడానికి నిర్ణయించినారు. వార్షిక పట్టిక ప్రకారం 5 సం॥లలో 5% వడ్డీతో 1/- ని రద్దు పరవడానికి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం 0.230975 అవసరం. 5 సం॥లకు కౌలు ఖాతాను

18. X purchased a machine on 1.1.2012 for 40,000 and estimated its life for 5 years. On 1.4.2013 a new machine is purchased for 50,000 and estimated its life for 4 years. He charges depreciation on the fixed installments system on 31st Dec. every year. Prepare machinery a/c up to the year ended 31st, Dec. 2015.

UNIT II
11. On 1st, January 2015 the provision for bad debts stood at 2400. During the year 2015 bad debts totalled 1700. On 318 December 2015 sundry debtors were 50,000. The firm wishes to maintain the provision for bad debts at 5% on debtors. Give necessary journal entries and prepare bad debts a/c and reserve for bad debts a/c.

12. The reserve for discount on creditors as on 31st, December 2016 was 1800. During the year 2017 discount received from creditors amounted to 2400. On 31st, December 2017 the creditors totalled 60,000. The reserve for discount on creditors is to be kept at 2% on creditors. Give journal entries and provision for discount on creditors accounts

UNIT III
13. X sold goods for 5,000 to Y at 10% trade discount. Y accepted a bill for the amount due for a period of 3 months and sent to X. X discounted the bill for 4.350. On the due date, the bills are dishonoured and incurred 10 noting charges. Pass journal entries in the books of both parties.

14. Surya has drawn two bills for 3,000 and 2000 for 3 months and 2 months respectively on Chanda who has accepted them. The first bill is discounted at a bank at 6% per annum. The second bill is retained by Surya. On the due date, the first bill is dishonoured and the second bill is honoured. Pass journal entries in the books of both parties.
సూర్య 3,000 లకు, 2000 లకు వరుసగా 3 నెలలకు 2 నెలలకు రెండు బిల్లులను చందపై వ్రాయగా చంద్ర అంగికరించినాడు. మొదటి బిల్లును బ్యాంకు వద్ద 6% కి డిస్కాంటు చేసుకోగా రెండో బిల్లు సూర్య తన వద్దనే ఉంచుకున్నాడు. గడువు రోజున మొదటి బిల్లు అనాదరణ కాగా రెండో బిల్లు ఆదరణ అయినది. యిరువురి పుస్తకాలలో చిట్టాపద్దులను వ్రాయండి.
UNIT IV
15. Bharat of Bombay consigned 100 cases cost price 7500 at a proforma voice price of 25%. Profit on sales to. Anil of Allahabad. Bharat incurred expenses of 600. Anil took delivery and paid 1200 for octroi and other duties and he remitted 4000 as an advance against the consignment. He sold 80 cases for 12000. He is entitled to a commission of 5% on sales. The final balance due is remitted by draft. Show ledger account in the books of Bharat.
బొంబాయిలోని భరత్ 100 కిసులను 7500 ఖరీదుకు అమ్మకాలపై 25% లాభంతో ప్రోఫార్మాయిన్వాయిస్ ధరకు. అలహాబాద్లోని అనిల్కు కన్సైన్మెంటుపై పంపినాడు. భరత్ 600 ఖర్చు చేసినాడు. అనిల్ సరుకును స్వికరించి ఆక్షోమ్, యితర సుంకాయి 1200 చెల్లించి బయానాగా 4000 పంపినాడు. అనిల్ 80 కేసులను 12000 లకు అమ్మి. ఆ మొత్తం మీద 5% కమీషన్ తీసుకున్నాడు. చివరికి యివ్వదేలిన మొత్తాన్ని బ్యాంకు డ్రాఫ్టు ద్వారా పంపినాడు. భరత్ పుస్తకాలలో ఆవర్జా ఖాతాలను చూపండి.

16, Ravi of Visakha consigned 500 bags at 300 each to Kumar of Kakinada and incurred 5,000 -expenses for forwarding the goods. Kumar took delivery and incurred 1000 for carriage, 3000 for godown rent and sold 400 bags at 400 each and charged a commission of 5% on sales and delcrederi commission of 1% on sales. Kumar reported a bad debt of 2000 on credit sales. Show journal entries in the books of Ravi.

UNIT V
17. A and B entered into joint venture sharing profits and losses equally. A Supplied goods worth 20,000 and paid expenses for 1000. B supplied goods worth 10,000 and paid expenses of 500. On behalf of venture B sold goods for 50,000 and charged 5% commission. The venture is closed and accounts a are settled. Pass journal entries in the books of A.
A,B లు ఉమ్మడి వ్యాపారంలో చేరి లాభనష్టాలను సమానంగా పంచుకుంటున్నారు. A 20,000 ల సరుకులను సరఫరా చేసి 1000 ఖర్చు చేసినాడు. B 10,000 ల సరుకులను సరఫరా చేసి 500 ఖర్చులు చేసినాడు. ఉమ్మడి వ్యాపారంతరుపున సరుకులన్నింటిని 50,000 లకు అమ్మి 5% కమీషన్ తీసుకున్నాడు. వ్యాపారం ముగియగా ఖాతాలు పరిష్కరించుకున్నారు. 18. Prasad and Prabhav entered into joint venture sharing profits in the ratio of 2: 1. They contributed 30,000 and 20,000 respectively and deposited in a joint bank account. They purchased goods worth 60,000 and incurred expenses of 4,000. Prabhav sold goods for 80,000 and incurred selling expenses 4,000. The unsold goods valued at 5,000 and taken by Prasad. The joint venture is closed and accounts are settled. Prepare ledger accounts.
